“Your creative future will be shaped by many competing ideas and decisions.

Begin by learning how to meet them with clarity.”

Selearah K. Starre

I have been an artist for more than thirty years, and I know that creative direction is rarely as simple as choosing the best idea.

The choices we make are connected to our time, energy, identity, unfinished work, changing lives and the many possibilities we do not want to lose.

I created The Coherence Artist Journals because artists deserve more than generic prompts or instructions to simply be more productive.

They deserve a way to understand their choices, trust what they recognise and shape their creative lives with greater clarity.

Drawing upon decades of artistic practice, governance research and systems design, I developed The Coherence Artist Journals with my Coherence Compass Architecture.

My original artworks are created and presented throughout the series under my continuing professional art name, Ngaire Winwood. My body of work can be viewed on my website.

Creative practice involves more than generating ideas. Artists must also decide which possibilities deserve commitment, understand their creative direction, work within their present capacity, and translate insight into meaningful action.

Sovereignty Artists is the artist-facing pathway within Coherence Living Artist Resources.

Developed through Selearah K. Starre’s original Coherence Compass Architecture, it offers structured resources for artists seeking clearer direction, deeper creative responsibility, and a more coherent relationship with their practice.

The first release within this pathway is The Coherence Artist Journals, an eight-part guided journal series designed to help artists move beyond scattered possibility into grounded, coherent creative action. Through each journal in the series, artists are guided to create their own pathway home: a return to the creative self they were always meant to become.

Too many creative ideas, but no clear way to decide which one deserves your energy?
